Did Kate Middleton Just Sneak into a Music Festival with Her Friends?!

See, royal moms can have fun too. According to a report published by the Daily Mail earlier this week, Kate Middleton, 41, apparently snuck into the Houghton Music Festival (near her royal residence in Norfolk, UK) with a group of friends.

Per the article, the Princess of Wales made a surprise appearence at the music festival after sitting down to have dinner with her neighbors, David and Rose, who also happen to be the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley.

The couple were hosting the musical festival on their estate and insisted that the royal princess come to the event. (FYI, her husband, Prince William, 41, was not with his wife at the time.)

An anonymous source told the Daily Mail that Princess Catherine was quite “nervous about the idea” at first, but decided to go with “lots of security” present. While there are no videos or pictures of the Middleton attending the event, it’s speculated that there were 12,000 attendees at the festival.

We love to hear Princess Catherine is having some fun, considering the mother of three has been pretty busy with her latest initiative, “Shaping Us.”

Earlier this year, Middleton officially launched her new campaign, which focuses on providing support and resources for children during the early years of their life.

Back in July, the Princess of Wales celebrated six months since launching “Shaping Us” on social media. On Instagram, the royal posted a montage video filled with press events and interview clips she has done throughout the year to promote her project.

“Six months of #ShapingUs,” Middleton wrote in the caption. “Our campaign highlights the importance of early childhood and how it can shape the adults we become. From pregnancy to the age of five, our brains develop at an exponential rate. It’s been a wonderful six months of spreading awareness far and wide, with so much more to come.”
