During a tour of the grounds, Princess Catherine realized there was something wrong with her shoe. The royal laughed off the incident and bent down to correct the problem before proceeding on her way like nothing happened. Perhaps there was a rock in her heel. Or maybe the back of her shoe needed to be readjusted. Either way, we’ve all been there, and ignoring the issue could have resulted in disaster.
The Princess of Wales wore an olive-green power suit by Burberry, which she paired with matching heels and a white blouse. If the set looks familiar, that’s because she previously wore it earlier this year when the Norwegian royal family visited the U.K.
Princess Catherine opted for her signature hairstyle, featuring a side part and loose waves. Her voluminous bangs were pushed to the side with just enough curl to frame her face. She accessorized with gold jewelry, including a chunky necklace and hoops with pearls.
As Hello! magazine points out, there’s a special connection between Princess Catherine and the textile mill. The royal’s great-great grandfather used to own the mill, when it was called William Lupton & Co. He sold the family business to AW Hainsworth back in 1958.
If only we looked as graceful as Princess Catherine in heels.
