Kate Middleton and Prince William Are in the Market for a New Assistant

Prince William and Kate Middleton are on the hunt for a new assistant.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently posted a job listing for the full-time position online and are currently accepting applicants. According to the posting, the role will require 37.5-hour work weeks and will be based at Kensington Palace.

“We require an experienced PA to provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy team,” the description reads. “The role will be responsible for managing diaries, arranging meetings, organizing and assisting with visits, events and travel. Duties will also include: handling telephone calls and regularly drafting letters and emails.”

As for qualifications, the royal duo is looking for an individual who has “previous personal assistant and administrative experience, including managing busy diaries and drafting correspondence.” In addition, an ideal candidate will have great organizational and communication skills, keen attention to detail and a “willingness to undertake a wide variety of tasks.”

Of course, Kate and Will made sure to include the importance of confidentiality, adding to the bottom of the listing: “The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times is essential.”

Unfortunately, the post does not include a salary or benefits included for the role. However, applicants do have until November 4th to apply.

With all of the engagements and events the couple has been attending recently, we imagine the position will be no easy feat. However, we’re sure there will be perks like being able to attend red carpet events like this week’s No Time to Die London premiere.
