When it comes to Kate Middleton, pretty much anything she does instantly becomes the talk of the town. From her effortlessly chic fashion choices to her relatable parenting moments, the Princess of Wales always manages to leave fans in awe and her latest outing was no exception.

On Thursday, Sept. 11, Princess Catherine, 42, stepped out for a series of royal visits to local mills in London. During the engagements, she met with skilled British craftsmen and women who specialize in traditional trades. One stop brought her to Marina Mill in Cuxton, where she rolled up her sleeves and gave screen printing a go.

In full hands-on mode, the royal removed her tailored suit jacket, tied on an apron and pulled her long hair back into a bun. All very standard stuff, until people noticed how she tied up her hair. Because she did it with no accessories.

In a video clip shared to X, Princess Catherine is seen casually twisting her hair into a sleek, low bun at the nape of her neck. No hair tie, no pins, no clips—just a simple twist and tuck and somehow it stayed in place perfectly. (See it in action here.)

And yes, fans immediately lost their minds.

"Why can't I do this," one person commented, before suggesting the royal share her secrets. "@KensingtonRoyal youtube tutorial huns."

"There's nothing this woman can't do perfectly because girl… how did she do it?!?" another fan added. A third echoed the sentiment, commenting, "Wait! How do you do that? I need to know!"

Of course, this isn’t the first time her hair has sparked a frenzy.

Just last week, Kate turned heads during a visit to the Natural History Museum with Prince William, where she debuted a noticeably blonder hair color, a significant shift from her usual brunette locks.

Whether blonde, brown or effortlessly bunned, one thing’s clear: Princess Catherine’s hair stays iconic.
