Kate Middleton Stuns in Emerald Green Midi Dress (While Casually Sipping a Guinness)
Kate Middleton’s agenda during her three-day tour of Ireland is definitely packed, but that hasn’t stopped her from serving up one poised look after another.
The 38-year-old Duchess of Cambridge ended the first day of her tour with Prince William with a very Irish activity. The couple visited the Guinness Storehouse’s Gravity Bar to meet with people across the creative arts, business, sports and philanthropic sectors.
Keeping in theme with the Emerald Isle, Middleton selected the beautiful metallic emerald Falconetti dress by The Vampire’s Wife for her outing with Prince William.
The exact color Middleton wore is still available for preorder—for now—and will set you back $2,044. It’s crafted from an iridescent emerald silk metallic chiffon and features a three-quarter length sleeve, soft ruffles at the hem, a slim bodice and figure-flattering shape, as well as a midi hemline (the duchess’s favorite). If green’s not your color, a Cinderella blue version of the dress is still shoppable and 50 percent off ($2,000; $1,000).
The Vampire’s Wife brand is a favorite of Princess Beatrice’s, who’s been spotted in a floral frock from the designer on more than one occasion. With that in mind, we can’t help but wonder if the soon-to-be bride suggested the duchess get on the Vampire’s Daughter train while they were chatting about wedding planning.
Middleton completed her look with some bouncy curls, gold statement earrings, a gold sequin Wilber & Gussie clutch ($314) that she’s had for ages and emerald green velvet Manolo Blahnik BB pumps ($695) with a 4-inch heel.
We can’t wait to see what fashion excellence awaits us next on their tour.
