Princess Beatrice’s Garden Party Outfit Confirms Her Glow-Up Is Complete

We love a style evolution. There was Meghan Markle’s transition from bodycon dresses to couture, Kate Middleton’s switch from Ugg boots to polished LK Bennett heels and, of course, Princess Eugenie’s and Princess Beatrice’s glow-ups.

The princesses arrived at their grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s garden party yesterday looking all sorts of chic and totally erasing the memory of the fascinators they wore to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s 2011 wedding.

Princess Beatrice looked classic yet on-trend in a burgundy silk-charmeuse floral midi dress from The Vampire’s Wife (kinda love that name).

The 30-year-old princess’s Veneration dress featured blue and yellow flowers, puffed sleeves (the Duchess of Cambridge loves those) with ruffles and a bow accent at the waist to highlight her figure. The ruffles continued to the dress’s two-tiered hem. The dress is currently still available on Matches Fashion for $1,664 but is selling out fast, and with good reason—Beatrice looked stunning.

She livened up the charming dress with a boxy basket handbag with gold metal hardware, a wooden handle and a methacrylate flap (not shown). The best part? It’s from Zara, but is sadly only available on the UK site.

Princess Beatrice opted for subtle black pumps for the event, which appear to be the Jimmy Choo Romy 100 pump ($595) in black. She completed the look with a maroon Laura Cathcart Millinery Tess hatband ($498) and kept her jewelry simple with a Cartier Juste un Clou bracelet ($3,050).

Florals and a picnic-basket-inspired purse for a garden party? We’d call that spot on.
