Justin Timberlake Sings a Duet with Beyoncé in Throwback Video

Beyoncé just celebrated a major birthday this past weekend as she turned forty years old. And while she marked the moment with a special collage on her website, fellow celebs joined the fun by sending messages of love to the singer on their social media accounts.

One of those stars was Justin Timberlake, who pulled out a throwback video of himself duetting with the “Irreplaceable” singer. “Happy Birthday to my friend and THE Queen,” he said in the caption. “Hope the family is spoiling you today. Lots of love.”

In the clip, the pair do a live cover of the song “Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing,” which was originally sang by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Their performance took place back in 2008, as a part of the Fashion Rocks charity fundraiser event.

These two are a vocal match made in heaven and Timberlake's video shows them harmonizing together as they finish the song. When they're done, we see them smile and hug each other on stage.

It seems we weren't the only ones who thought the two sounded great together. One user commented, “Y’all should definitely make a song together!!” Another wrote, “Okay what a duo !!!!” Other celebs, like Normani, left heart emojis in the comments.

Along with Timberlake's vintage clip, lots of other stars sent wishes to Queen Bey. In a video shared on Harper's Bazaar, a group of celebs were filmed saying “happy birthday” to Beyoncé, including Oprah, Reese Witherspoon, Ed Sheeran and many others.

While Beyoncé didn't post anything on her own Instagram, we hope she entered her new decade of life with a bang.
