Ciara & Russell Wilson Deserve an Award for Their Beyoncé & Jay-Z Halloween Costumes

The internet is bowing down to Ciara and Russell Wilson, who totally nailed their Beyoncé and Jay-Z Halloween costumes.

Yesterday, the “1, 2 Step” singer, 34, shared a series of photos and videos on Instagram, in which she and her husband, 30, recreated the iconic “Ape Sh*t” music video.

The scene they recreated shows Beyoncé and Jay-Z singing at the Louvre in Paris. And while the original version featured Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa painting, Ciara and Wilson made the clip their own, replacing it with a photo of Michelle and Barack Obama. The video was filmed by Seattle-based photographer Adam Gatdula.

Ciara wrote, “From the Wilsons to the Carters to the Obamas… Much Love & Respect. We goin Ape $#!% #HappyHalloween.”

For Ciara, the costume consisted of a pink satin power suit from Peter Pilotto that is nearly identical to the one donned by Queen Bey. She accessorized the look with a high half-up, half-down ponytail and loads of diamonds.

Just like Jay-Z, Wilson wore a light blue suit with a thick gold chain.

“Jay & Bey,” Ciara captioned another post.

Ciara and Russell Wilson aren’t the only ones who channeled other celebrities this Halloween. While Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes dressed up as each other, Nick Viall went as new Bachelor Peter Weber. Oh, and how could we forget about Jessica Biel, who wore a Justin Timberlake costume.

We’re crazy in love with this.
