Jonathan Van Ness reunited with BFF Michelle Kwan last week for a very important reason—to give her a haircut.
Yep, the 32-year-old posted a slideshow of pictures and videos to his Instagram where he works his magic on the Olympic figure skater’s locks. The salon visit/playdate included a wash, cut and blowout, because of course.
“Best way to wrap up this day is a haircut with queen @michellewkwan swipe for the process,” he captioned the series of snaps.
Van Ness previously opened up to PureWow about his passion for figure skating as well as his love for Kwan, who has helped him practice his own skating skills. So what was it like working with one of the best in American history?
“[It’s been] like a fever dream that I just hope I don’t wake up from. Apparently, I wore this skirt last week that she has, and I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I can’t believe we have the same skirt and that you commented on my Instagram.’ I can’t get over it. She’s literally the most decorated American figure skater of all time,” he pointed out.
From skating together on the ice to makeovers at the salon, it looks like their relationship is only getting stronger. Oh, and did we mention they attended the GLAAD Awards together?
