Jessica Alba Wore the High-Waisted, Wide-Legged Pants You *Need* For Fall

Jessica Alba has laid-back California girl dressing down to a T. Whether she’s walking the red carpet in couture or leading a board meeting after breast feeding her son,  the 38-year-old L.A.’s Finest star always looks effortlessly stylish. The latest example? Alba was spotted heading to her Honest Company headquarters in Santa Monica, California, last week wearing a pair of super cute (and affordable) pants that are equally suited for work as they are a farmer’s market run.

Alba selected the Lou & Grey brushed twill high-waisted wide-leg pants ($80) in harvest green for a day in the office.

The Honest Company co-founder paired the brushed, vintage-looking trousers with a white linen peasant top and white 42 Gold Castle cap toe mules in ecru leather ($120). She carried a chill and chic version of a briefcase—the sold-out Christian Dior Diorcamp canvas messenger bag in army green, for those unfamiliar. (PS: The navy blue version is still available if you’re feeling a $3,050 splurge.) She accessorized with large silver hoop earrings and tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses that matched her windswept hair kind of perfectly.

Although Alba’s pants are perfect for a late summer’s visit to the office, they’ll also come in handy once fall rolls around. Pair the same outfit with a chunky sweater and heeled boot and you’re good to go. And, at $80 a pop, these high-waisted beauties are even more appealing.

Excuse us while we buy one in every color. It’s a business investment, right?
