Just like florals for spring aren't groundbreaking, wearing white in the summer isn't necessarily unexpected. But that's not to say it can't be modern and chic.
Case in point: the ensemble Jessica Alba wore the other day for a screening of L.A.'s Finest at The Wing in SoHo.
The key to keeping warm-weather white fresh? Instead of rocking white jeans or a floaty white sundress, stick to ivory accessories. Alba, for example, paired an army green suit with a structured top-handle bag and pointy-toe pumps, both in crisp white.
If you'll remember, we called out stark white shoes a few months ago as being one of the easiest ways to make your outfit look super expensive. A pointy-toe pump, especially, is totally elegant and makes your legs look longer.
