Jessica Alba gave us all the distraction we needed this week.
To describe her mood during the recent vote-counting process, Alba shared a rare childhood pic of herself to describe her mood during the process. On Instagram, she wrote, "Waiting for that count to come in....mood #fbf—9 yr old me [winking face with tongue emoji] #LatinX #Latina #wegotthis #blm #Equality #opportunity #sisepuede."
The pic appears to be a candid of Alba giving a side-eye glance at something in the distance. She rocks a multicolored floral top while her hair is worn in loose waves, complete with bangs. One fan wrote, "Always a beauty!" Another added, "Beyond gorgeous!"
While we could go into detail about how these bangs are giving us instant Honey flashbacks, it's hard to miss the resemblance between her nine-year-old self and her two-year-old son, Hayes Alba Warren.
Alba's good genes were definitely passed down to her son, who appears to have the same eyes as the actress. And the same can be said for Alba's nine-year-old daughter, Haven Garner, who could probably pass for her mom's twin.
Aside from Hayes and Haven Garner, Alba also shares a third child, Honor Marie, 12, with her husband, Cash Warren. The couple wed in Los Angeles in May of 2008—only a month before they welcomed their first child.
We hope this won't be the last childhood throwback pic that we see from Alba!
