Jessica Alba Gave Her Daughters Haircuts Over the Weekend (and We're Totally Impressed)

You know that friend who can (seemingly) do everything? Jessica Alba is that friend. In between filming cute TikTok videos of herself dancing like a pro (remember Honey, y'all?), the actress and co-founder of the Honest Company made time to cut her daughters' hair on camera and (spoiler alert) it looked professionally done.

Granted she had some virtual assistance from her friend and mega stylist, Jen Atkin, who guided her through the steps. (You can hear Atkin in the background coaching Alba, "Try not to cut too much from the very end. Up high, keep it up high. And you're gonna go up, up, up. Scissors should be angled the other way but you're good, you did it!")

"I think I did an okay job," said Alba. "I had to go in and blend Honor's [hair] again. It was inspired because Honor has her school pictures. Because of sheltering in place and social distancing, the teachers have asked us to take her...it's sort of like a senior picture, but for sixth grade."

After cutting Honor's hair, Alba sprayed it down with Honest Company Conditioning Spray and Innersense Hair Love Prep Spray to protect it from the heat before blow drying and using a curling iron to create loose waves throughout. It seems Honor approved, saying, "Mom curled it for me, and I really like it 'cause it has layers." That's pretty high praise from a tween.
