Jennifer Aniston Posts Video Reaction to Learning She Broke the Internet

In case you missed it, Jennifer Aniston officially joined Instagram earlier this week. And of course, the internet went wild, with many stating that the Friends alum “broke the internet.”

Here’s what happened.

On Tuesday, the 50-year-old actress not only joined the photo sharing app, but she also shared an epic snap of herself and some familiar faces. We’re talking about a selfie with her Friends co-stars Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.

The photo attracted so much attention that she even broke a Guinness World Record—in just five hours (and 16 minutes), Aniston collected 1 million followers, taking the title for fastest time to do so. (Might we add that the previous holders of that record were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with their @sussexroyal account).

But perhaps even more impressive was Jen’s response to the news. The 50-year-old actress posted a very clever Instagram to thank her fans.

See the post below.

“I swear I didn’t mean to break it… Thank you guys for the kind, glitchy welcome,” she captioned a video of herself throwing her phone down in frustration.

Before her big social media debut, Aniston’s family and friends had to hashtag her name in photo captions. One of the most recent being Lisa Kudrow, who posted a throwback photo of the cast with the hashtag “#COMEONALREADYJEN.”

Between her two posts and world-breaking record, it seems like Jen has Instagram in the bag.

We can’t wait to see what she does next.
