Enter IKEA’s way of celebrating the vernal equinox: three-ounce milk chocolate bunnies (aka Vårkänsla)…some assembly required.
In true IKEA form, the three-piece confections are housed in flat-packs à la your living room couch. With a little patience and no Allen wrench, the two-dimensional chocolate pieces form a very Nordic-looking rabbit.
And of course, a little Swedish lesson: Vårkänsla is a variant on vårkänslor, the Swedish term for “spring fever.” That’s the opposite of the feeling you get after assembling (and eating) one too many flat-packed chocolate rabbits.
