Kate Hudson and Kathryn Hahn Tease ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ Anniversary Event with Matthew McConaughey

Lately, we've been seeing many early 2000s rom-coms celebrating anniversaries, from Sweet Home Alabama to Maid in Manhattan. And in only a couple months, it will be the 20th anniversary of the release of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, which hasn't escaped the attention of stars Kate Hudson and Kathryn Hahn.

As the two promoted their new film, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, they visited the Australian podcast Smallzy’s Surgery, where they talked about the How to Lose a Guy anniversary.

As Kent Small (aka Smallzy) chatted with the two stars, Hudson and Hahn highlighted how fun it was to work with such an all-star cast for Glass Onion. They even said that co-star Daniel Craig threw a party for the cast.

Following this slice of information, Small asked the pair if they threw a celebration for the 20th anniversary of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (which happens officially in February 2023), to which Hudson said, “We were just thinking about this, we’ve got a couple of people who said, like, ‘What are we doing for the 20 year anniversary?’ We have to do something.”

The Almost Famous star then suggested that she and Hahn should reach out to their past co-star, Matthew McConaughey. “We're gonna have to call that old Texan,” Hudson said in a southern accent, referring to McConaughey. “And we're gonna have to figure something out.”

Hahn chimed in to agree, adding, “Maybe we'll have to have a little private screening.”

We would love to see this cast reunite...fingers crossed they can get a hold of that Texan.
