When it comes to fashion, Heidi Klum is always serving a look. But that’s kind of a given, she is the longtime host and judge of one of the most iconic fashion competition shows ever (ahem, Project Runway). And it looks like her style savvy has officially been passed down. Heidi and her daughter, Leni, just hit the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the 82nd Venice Film Festival and they did not come to play.
The mother-daughter duo turned heads in matching gowns that gave a modern spin on twinning. Heidi, 52, wore a blush pink, floor-length gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves and a structured corset bodice featuring mesh panels. The gown featured ruching at the waist as the fabric flowed effortlessly to the floor.
Leni, 21, wore the same gown but in black, with a few subtle changes. Her version featured delicate spaghetti straps and skipped the ruching, creating a sleeker, more minimalist silhouette.
