While Gilmore Girls is known for its witty, rapid-fire dialogue and debate-inducing romances, one of the most consistent aspects of the show is its ability to make us hungry. But now, luckily for us and any other die-hard fans of the Amy Sherman-Palladino series, there will finally be an opportunity to cook like we're in an episode of Gilmore Girls.

On April 26, co-authors Elena Craig and Kristen Mulrooney will drop Gilmore Girls: The Official Cookbook, which features over 50 recipes inspired by the hit TV show.

In the official writeup from the book's publisher, Insight Editions, it says, “Gilmore Girls: The Official Cookbook features dishes from every corner of Stars Hollow and beyond, including the Dragonfly Inn, Weston’s Bakery, Al’s Pancake World, Luke’s Diner, and Emily and Richard’s dinner table.”

This cookbook won't just be tips for how to make regular old burgers or pasta dishes either. The recipes are inspired by specific dishes from the show, including Sookie’s risotto, Mrs. Kim’s flaxseed muffins and Luke’s cheeseburger and fries.

Meanwhile, any fan of the series will enjoy the gorgeous, full-color pictures of all the courses mixed in with snaps from the show. According to the publisher, the book features “clever cooking tips from Sookie, hosting tips from Michel, etiquette tips from Emily Gilmore, and the wisdom from Lorelei and Rory for cooking fast and talking faster.”

Following the release of the Gilmore Girls x Ulta collection last summer, it seems as if fans of the series are getting treated to all kinds of special merch. We will definitely be picking one of these cookbooks up (and we're getting hungry just thinking about it).
