Emily Blunt stepped out for a rare appearance with her kids at the U.S. Open earlier this week, alongside husband John Krasinski.
The couple and their children, Hazel (11) and Violet (9), attended the men’s singles championship match between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, and were fully engrossed, as they couldn’t take their eyes off the game (even while eating pizza).
While the matchup was, indeed, intense, the family did take a moment to excitedly wave at the crowd when they were shown on the Jumbotron. They were also dressed stylishly, with Blunt wearing a white button-down top with a pair of glasses, and Krasinski rocking a black polo, which he, too, paired with frames. As for Hazel and Violet, they went for sporty looks, coordinating with pink tops. The family certainly isn’t strangers to the U.S. Open, having attended the tournament in 2024 and 2023.
That appearance came as Blunt was taking a well-deserved acting break to focus on her family life, which she discussed on the iHeart podcast Table for Two. “It’s one of those things when people are like, ‘How do you balance it?’ I never feel like I’m doing it right, you know,” she told the hosts.
She continued: “But this year I’m not working. I worked quite a bit last year, and my oldest baby is nine, so we’re in the last year of single digits. And I just feel there are cornerstones to their day that are so important when they’re little.”
Blunt and Krasinski first began dating in 2008, tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in July 2010.
