Bring. It. On. Eliza Dushku Is Expecting Her First Child

It’s official: Eliza Dushku is going to be a mom!

Yesterday, the Bring It On star, 38, revealed that she and her husband, businessman Peter Palandjian, are expecting their first child together. Dushku announced the news while chatting with reporters during a special screening of her brand-new documentary, Mapplethorpe, in New York City.

“We’re just very excited. We just got married in August. It’s a special year for us,” she told Us Weekly.

Dushku and Palandjian met back in 2015 and announced their engagement in 2017. The couple tied the knot in August 2018 in an intimate courtyard wedding at the Boston Public Library.

According to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star, the pregnancy couldn’t come at a better time, despite the fact that she’s entering her senior year at Suffolk University, where she’s studying holistic healing, addiction and trauma. 

She added, “I’m newly married, and I’m just so excited about this next chapter in my life. You know, I’ve been acting since I was 9 years old, and I’m sort of finding these new things that I’m really excited about. It’s been a big year but a great year.”

Here’s to hoping she gets plenty of sleep before the baby arrives! (Wishful thinking, we know.)
