When it comes to royals who know how to dress, yes—Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and even Princess Eugenie often steal the spotlight. But let’s not forget about Duchess Sophie. The Duchess of Edinburgh has been showing up to royal engagements looking every bit as chic and stylish as the rest—and her latest outfit is no exception.

In a new photo shared by Buckingham Palace, Duchess Sophie is seen attending a recent outing and all I could say was: that dress. The carousel post includes four photos, three of which show the duchess with a veteran during their conversation. She’s wearing the “Nancy” dress by Lexy London, a pretty white, pink and olive green patterned number that’s buttoned all the way through—from its Oxford-style collar to its mid-calf-length skirt. The dress also features slightly puffed sleeves that end just above the elbow. In short: it's elegant, flattering and actually affordable. And this maximalist pick is currently on sale for just under $200—which, for a royal wardrobe that often runs into the four figures, feels like a steal.

“Ahead of the 80th anniversary of VJ Day, The Duchess of Edinburgh sat down with James ‘Jim’ Wren, a 105-year-old Royal Marines veteran, at his care home in Salisbury, Wiltshire,” the palace captioned the post.

“Mr Wren survived the sinking of HMS Repulse in 1941 and was later a Prisoner of War for three and a half years, having been captured whilst escaping from Singapore in February 1942,” they added. “Her Royal Highness is Patron of The Java Far East Prisoner of War Club 1942.”

And of course, this isn’t Duchess Sophie’s first standout moment. Just last month, she proved she can pull off any look—stepping out as Colonel-in-Chief of the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in full camo and later changing into a stunning blue floral dress for a separate engagement in Tidworth, Wiltshire.

Camo one minute, garden-party chic the next—Duchess Sophie can truly do it all.
