Demi Moore isn’t letting her Oscars disappointment get in the way of Mikey Madison’s excitement. This week, Moore shared a video montage of herself getting ready for the 97th annual Academy Awards.

The Substance star, 62, wrote a heartfelt caption where she gave a special shout-out to Madison (who won the Oscar Award for Best Actress).

The caption read, “As this awards season comes to a close, I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude for this journey. It’s been the ride of a lifetime and we’re just getting started! So grateful for my team, my fellow nominees, and everyone who has made this experience so full of joy and light.”

Moore concluded the message by personally congratulating Madison on her Oscar win, adding, “And a huge congratulations to #MikeyMadison—can’t wait to see what you do next [heart emoji].”

The shout-out came a few days after Madison won the 2025 Oscar Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. The Anora star was nominated against a strong list of contenders, including Moore (The Substance), Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Karla Sofía Gascón (Emilia Pérez) and Fernanda Torres (I’m Still Here).

During her speech, Madison recognized her fellow nominees. “I also just want to recognize the thoughtful, intelligent, beautiful, breathtaking work of my fellow nominees,” she said. “I’m honored to be recognized alongside all of you.”

While many expected the award to go to someone more established in their career (like Moore), it became more apparent as the ceremony progressed that Madison was a frontrunner because Anora swept nearly every other category.

Shout-out to Moore for being a good sport.
