Dancing with the Stars pro Julianne Hough and her NHL player beau, Brooks Laich, tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony on Saturday, July 8.
The couple made their union official in the presence of close family and friends with a breathtaking outdoor celebration near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho—Hough’s hometown. Hough's brother, Derek, served as a groomsman, while friends Nina Dobrev, Aaron Paul and DWTS pro Mark Ballas looked on. Lexi and Harley, the couple's two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, adorably wagged their tails down the aisle as ring bearers.
The bride and groom looked absolutely stunning. Hough donned a Marchesa gown with a sweetheart neckline and trumpet skirt, while Laich sported a dapper Brooks Brothers tuxedo. The DWTS alum played up her classic beauty with a simple updo and cathedral-length veil with blusher.
The newlyweds departed their fete, with Laich as the handsome speedboat captain and Hough as his beautiful new bride with her veil blowing in the wind.
It seems there was some stiff fairy-tale wedding competition this past weekend, as fellow DWTS pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy wed in a similarly stunning ceremony at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York.
So, the question remains: Who was the better bride, Hough or Murgatroyd? (JK, JK, they both looked amaze.)
