Courteney Cox Just Had the Ultimate Mom Moment at Disneyland

Don't knock it until you try it

They say parents will do anything for their kids and it looks like Courteney Cox just proved that theory right at the Happiest Place on Earth.

The Friends alum, 61, recently shared a carousel of moments from a fun-filled Disneyland trip with her daughter, Coco Arquette, 21, and Coco’s friend Sydney. While the trio certainly looked like they were soaking up all the magic, one of the day’s most iconic moments didn’t involve Mickey ears or roller coasters—it was all about the food.

In the post captioned, “Disneyland with my girls,” Cox included a short but hilarious video of her daughter trying to convince her to try one of the park’s most legendary (and polarizing) snacks: the giant smoked turkey leg.

In the clip (second slide), Coco holds the enormous piece of meat and says to the camera, “My mom won’t try a turkey leg,” before confidently taking a bite herself. Courteney, clearly horrified, replies, “It’s literally the most disgusting thing I’ve seen in my life.”

Still, Coco presses on, holding it out, presses, “Take a bite.” Courteney lists her reasons for saying no, stating that it’s greasy, the skin looks unappetizing and she’s just not into it. “I hate this more than you know,” she says.

But eventually, she finally gives in and shocker, she actually loves it. “Oh, it’s smoky! It’s a smoked turkey leg—oh, it’s delicious...I love that thing,” the actress says.

Moral of the story? Don’t knock it till you try it.

This isn’t the first time Cox has shared a sweet moment with Coco. Back in June, she posted a heartfelt birthday tribute for her daughter’s 21st birthday featuring a baby throwback and a current snap of the two looking closer than ever.

“From this to this. 21 years of everything. My heart barely fits inside my chest,” she wrote. “I’m so happy I’m your Bourt Lemon.”

Keep the mother-daughter memories (and turkey legs) coming.
