We can’t be the only ones seeing double.
A few weeks back on Instagram, Chrissy Teigen, 38, dedicated a birthday tribute to her mom, Vilailuck (aka Pepper). To kick off the special post, Teigen shared a photo of the duo enjoying the great outdoors together. It’s easy to see they’re related from the snap, with their similar cheeky smiles.
Aside from their striking resemblance, we were also treated to some sweet moments shared between the mother-daughter duo. The fifth slide is a pic of mama Vilailuck lifting her daughter off the ground while Teigen’s oldest son, Miles, stands in the corner. As a bonus in the sixth slide, we’re shown a never-before-seen pic of Teigen’s mom cooking a meal in the kitchen.
In the caption, the Sports Illustrated cover model wrote, “Happy birthday to the life of the party, @pepperthai2,” alongside pink heart emojis.
Her followers (like the rest of us) couldn’t get over the pair’s resemblance. In the comments section, one user wrote, “Your family has very strong genes.” Another person chimed in and said, “Wooow! They look so much alike.”
Now, this is not the first time Teigen has posted pics taken with her mom on social media. Back in November, the mother of four posted a slideshow that features an old snap of Chrissy and her mom hugging their beloved basset hound.
She captioned the post, “My OG babies! (always been a basset lover [face emoji surrounded by hearts) give me all the dogs!!”
Seems that great genes run in the Teigen family.
