Chrissy Teigen, 37, and John Legend, 44, have been enjoying family life with their children (including their newborn daughter, Esti), whether that be on a European vacation or on their comfy couch at home. Recently, the married couple stepped out for a celebratory event and, might we say, they certainly came to dress and impress.

On Instagram, the mother of three shared a slideshow of her and her hubby getting ready to party like it’s 2023 1970. In a shared video, Teigen is giving true diva in her lavender sequined ensemble with a bejeweled headpiece and a matching feather shawl.

Legend, who lovingly looks at his wife, is having his own purple moment with a velvet shirt (with the top buttons undone) and a cream-white suit.

In the caption, Teigen wrote, “I would have either despised the 70s (dancing/sequins) or flourished (drugs/jello molds) I can’t decide…thank you @dianebuzzetta @rikkigash @alanavanderaa.”

Her followers flocked to the comments section to gush over the happy couple, with one person writing, “Y’all cute,” alongside purple heart emojis. Another chimed in and said, “A couple of studs.”

Aside from this iconic outfit moment, Teigen and Legend have worn coordinating ensembles many times before—and their children have even joined in on the fun too.

Back in February, the “Ordinary People” singer shared a family photo of the five of them wearing matching outfits in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Legend wrote in the caption, “I had the best Valentine’s dates last night,” with a bunch of red heart emojis.

Yup, it’s official: Purple is definitely their color.
