Enough is enough! This Is Us star and body-positive advocate Chrissy Metz says she’s so over fans inquiring about her weight-loss journey, and we don’t blame her.
Yesterday, during an interview with the Today show, Metz revealed she wants people to stop asking if she intends to undergo weight-loss surgery. She vented, “Some people do feel like they’re my doctors, and they have tried to diagnose me on the internet. So that’s...that’s weird. Cause like, I’m good. I’m good, boo. But thanks. But I’m good.” Amen, boo.
Metz is best known for playing Kate Pearson, a woman struggling with her weight (among many other relatable issues), on the hit NBC series This Is Us. While the actress confirmed she’s contractually obligated to lose weight for the role, she doesn’t have a specific goal and loves her body. Her favorite asset? Her calves. She added, “People are like, ‘Enough. Don’t do any more calf raises.’ But I don’t! But I’ve come to love them and realize, like, they carry my body around. And I could probably kick some ass.”
Attagirl, Chrissy. Continue kicking ass and taking names!
