The upcoming season of The Bachelorette is no doubt already one of the, in the words of Chris Harrison, “most dramatic ever.” However, the beloved television host just dropped some major news that has us even more excited for the premiere on October 13.

PureWow recently sat down with the Bachelor franchise host to talk about his latest partnership with Kelly Blue Book and the recent release of their Auto Repair Guide—a go-to resource providing valuable assistance on fair pricing for a variety of maintenance and car repairs. During the chat, the 49-year-old television host revealed that season 18 of The Bachelorette is packed with guest stars.

“We thought one good way to spice things up was to bring in some familiar faces,” Harrison told PureWow. “That means reaching out to our Bachelor family and bringing some of our friends on. Jo Jo came in to help out—so you’ll see her. I selfishly called my buddy Wells in large part to work but also just to hang out with me, play golf and have a cocktail because I was bored. Some of it was self-serving I’ll admit.” Who better to enjoy a cocktail with than the BIP bartender himself?

However, not all of the special appearances are from Bachelor Nation. There are also a few other famous faces that will be stopping by. Of course, Harrison couldn’t get too specific.

“There were some other guests that we had come in,” he continued. “I can't name them yet, but a wonderful female comedian came in and some performers came in and they had to be willing to go through the same [COVID-19] protocol so kudos to them. We made it work.”

Wells and a comedian? Count us in.
