Just because Camila Mendes has pretty much nailed Veronica’s preppy fashion style on Riverdale doesn’t mean her real-life closet consists of pearls, collars and sweaters. In fact, the 25-year-old actress’s latest look is something we can all benefit from having in our wardrobe.

Mendes recently visited the Good Morning America studio in New York City to promote season four of the popular series. She turned heads in a blue Edie Faux Wrap Midi Dress by A.L.C., which is a far stretch from what she usually wears on Riverdale.

“Faux” means that the dress doesn’t actually unravel—instead, the “wrap” is fixated in a structured knot on the right side, so you don’t have to worry about any potential wardrobe malfunctions. The frock is made from a stretch-linen blend, so ready thy wrinkle release spray.

The Edie Faux Wrap Midi Dress retails for $545. If you’re thinking, That’s pricey, then same. And it doesn’t stop there.

Mendes accessorized the look with a Ruby Baguette Necklace by Eriness and Da Capo Major Earrings by State Property. While the necklace retails for $750, the earrings have a hefty price tag of $5,400.

The Riverdale star even added a pop of color with her neon green PVC Mules by Andrea Wazen, which cost $385. (That’s more than $7,000 in total, people.)

While we applaud Mendes for upping her fashion game, we’ll probably stick with the dress…for now.
