Major congrats are in order for Cameron Diaz and hubby Benji Madden, who are officially parents!
On Friday, the Charlie's Angels actress shared the big news on Instagram, revealing that the couple recently welcomed a baby girl into the world.
"Happy New Year from the Maddens! We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden," the post reads. "She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family.” Talk about a way to start the new year.
Unfortunately for us, the couple won’t be sharing pictures of their daughter anytime soon. "While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one's privacy. So we won't be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute!! Some would even say RAD.”
This is the first child for both Diaz, 47, and Madden, 40. The couple tied the knot in 2015 after a year of dating. Three years after their Beverly Hills nuptials (which were also a surprise), a source told Us Weekly exclusively that the Diaz “would love” to be a mom. Looks like her wish came true.
