When we learned that Blake Lively’s birthday was this week, we immediately began to anticipate the annual birthday trolling from husband Ryan Reynolds. And yet, we got something much better.
Lively turned 33 on Tuesday and celebrated at her family’s California home with a day filled with food, an at-home spa session, gifts and, of course, cake.
However, it was the Gossip Girl’s post the following morning that really caught our attention. Lively decided to give fans a look at her very special birthday cake—a sandwich cake piled with whipped cream, blueberries and strawberries. She posted a photo to her Instagram Story of Reynolds delivering the delicious treat.
In the shot, Reynolds is holding the large cake with candles while wearing a thin blue shirt that shows off his muscular biceps.
