Billie Lourd Posts Sweet Snap of Son Kingston Dressed as Princess Leia

Billie Lourd is honoring her late mother, Carrie Fisher, in the best way possible—by introducing her son, Kingston, to her mother’s iconic character, Princess Leia.

On Tuesday, in honor of Star Wars day (May the 4th), Lourd shared a slideshow on her personal Instagram account featuring the 8-month-old watching his grandmother in the film while dressed as the princess herself. The 28-year-old captioned the post with a handful of emojis.

The first image shows Kingston laying on the bed with a laptop screen in front of him as he rocks a knit cap designed to look like Leia’s iconic buns. The second photo features an up-close view of the baby’s outfit—a white onesie with Leia artwork on it.

This isn’t the first time the actress has paid tribute to Fisher, who passed away in 2016. In fact, she also gave her son the middle name “Fisher” to honor her mom.

Lourd shocked fans and followers back in September when she announced the birth of her first child without ever revealing that she was expecting. The Booksmart star shared a photo of her baby’s feet (in space pajamas) on Instagram and wrote, “Introducing: Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell,” adding two blue hearts and a crown emoji. It's also likely that the PJs were a subtle nod to Fisher’s Star Wars films as well.

What a great way for Kingston to celebrate his grandmother’s memory.
