We’re still trying to cope with the fact that Bethenny Frankel is leaving The Real Housewives of New York after 11 catty seasons. And now, the 48-year-old reality star dropped yet another bombshell that no one saw coming: She’s married…sorta.

Today, Frankel low-key confirmed that she is currently married (many speculated to her beau, producer Paul Bernon) in a cryptic post on Twitter.

Shortly after the RHONY news broke, the Skinnygirl founder paid tribute to her former co-stars—Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Tinsley Mortimer, Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley—on social media and revealed that she’s the only cast member who’s married.

Wait, what? Frankel is married?! This is news to, well, everyone, since last we heard she was happily dating the film producer. Well, not so fast.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Frankel is still “technically married” to her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, which means she didn’t exchange vows with Bernon. In a statement, her lawyer Robert Wallack revealed that while Frankel and Hoppy have been separated for years, they haven’t settled their divorce yet.

“While Jason has been pushing for years to have the judge sign the divorce judgment, it’s Bethenny’s lawyers who’ve objected,” the statement read.

So, is Frankel joking? Or does she consider Bernon to be her husband, despite the paperwork tying her to Hoppy?

Unfortunately, Frankel hasn’t commented on the debacle, but we don’t blame her for taking a break from the spotlight to focus on her personal life—regardless of who she’s married to.

Frankel and Bernon started dating in October 2018. The RHONY alum shares a daughter, Bryn (9), with her ex-husband. Bernon also has two kids from his previous marriage.

We’d love to hear what Watch What Happens Live star Andy Cohen has to say about this.
