This Celeb Low-Key Ruined Joe Jonas’s Wedding to Sophie Turner

Joe Jonas just confirmed that Diplo did, in fact, ruin his surprise Vegas wedding to Sophie Turner.

It all started earlier this month when the couple unexpectedly tied the knot at a ceremony in Las Vegas. (Elvis Presley impersonator included.) Although it was supposed to be a private event, that all changed when the couple’s DJ, Diplo, livestreamed the ceremony on Instagram.

In a recent radio interview with Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, Jonas revealed that Diplo wasn’t supposed to leak the wedding. “Yeah, he did ruin it,” he joked. “I love Diplo, but he loves his ’gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds. He literally, like, livestreamed with dog-face filters.”

While it caused quite the media storm, Jonas admitted that it didn’t actually make him mad. “We just laughed. We loved it. We thought it was ridiculous, and I just love that he was walking into the chapel and he was like, ‘going to hit this wedding real quick,’” he added. 

This isn’t the first time the couple spoke about Diplo’s livestream. Turner recently stopped by The Graham Norton Show and confirmed that it wasn’t planned, saying, “He just kind of decided to livestream it. [What happens in Vegas] doesn’t stay in Vegas.”

On the bright side, Joe and Sophie are planning a second wedding in France this June, so there’s still time to find a new DJ. (No offense, Diplo.)
