Step aside, Darkest Hour. There’s a brand-new winner in town.
Tonight, Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the 91st annual Academy Awards. During the ceremony, Vice won the award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
The film was up against Border and Mary Queen of Scots.
Although the Academy tried to cut the Best Makeup and Hairstyling category from this year’s TV broadcast, it reversed its decision after an outcry of backlash. In addition to Darkest Hour, previous winners include Suicide Squad, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Dallas Buyers Club, Les Misérables and The Iron Lady.
