New ‘Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart’ Promo Teases Bleak Future for Jamie & Trevor

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

During last night’s episode of The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart, our prediction came true when Julia and Brandon left their partners for each other. While (spoiler alert!) it didn’t work out for the couple, we think Jamie and Trevor will follow in their footsteps, and it has everything to do with Jamie’s unexpected L-bomb in next week’s installment.

If you need a refresher, you should know that episode four of the spin-off series revolves around Julia and Brandon, who originally partnered with Sheridan and Savannah, respectively.

The problem? Julia and Brandon can’t stop flirting with each other, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. After some banter, Sheridan and Savannah voluntarily leave the show. (Why they didn’t just partner with each other is unclear.)

This proves to be a mistake during the performances later that night, since Julia and Brandon don’t have chemistry like the other pairs. At the rose ceremony, Chris Harrison gives the last flower to Jamie and Trevor, ultimately sending home Julia and Brandon.

We could easily go on and on about how Julia single-handedly sealed her fate by betraying Sheridan (how could you?!), but based on the promo for next week’s episode, it’s clear that Jamie and Trevor aren’t going to stay around for much longer either.

Here’s what you need to know: At the end of the episode, ABC aired a never-before-seen trailer featuring scenes from episode five. During what appears to be a one-on-one date, Jamie musters up the courage to tell Jamie that she’s falling in love with him. As expected, it totally backfires, since they’ve only known each other for a matter of days.

Trevor says, “I take that word more serious and sacred than any other word.” Jamie’s response? “I feel like I’m going to vomit.”

Our interpretation is that Jamie’s confession causes just enough tension between the couple to either 1) negatively impact their performance or 2) make them do something drastic.

If it’s the latter, Jamie and Trevor could easily find other partners (like Julia and Brandon). Still, if we’ve learned anything from this week’s episode, it’s that sticking with the wrong partner might be better than starting from scratch. Just saying.

The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart returns to ABC next Monday, May 11, at 8 p.m.
