At the Platinum Jubilee, One Royal Baby Looked an Awful Lot Like a Young Prince Harry

There were an endless amount of surprises at this past weekend's Platinum Jubilee, from a secret meeting between Queen Elizabeth and baby Lilibet to the public debut of new royal couples. However, one of the best parts was when a certain tiny royal, one-year-old August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, had his public debut (and he wore a Union Jack sweater that was perfectly fitting for the weekend).

In a set of photos that were snapped during the Platinum Pageant, the royal toddler was seen being passed between his parents, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, as each took turns holding him in their laps. However, while we loved this first full glimpse of Baby Brooksbank, we couldn't help but notice how much he resembles a younger version of one of his distant family members—Prince Harry.

Not only does baby August have the same red hair as Prince Harry (a trait that the Duke of Sussex has also passed on to his children), but he also has the same striking blue eyes. In a side-by-side comparison (as seen above), we can also see that as toddlers, the two have the same round nose and mouth—and those ears!

August's mom, Princess Eugenie, is one of Prince Harry's cousins, so we can see how similar traits might be shared between the two. Meanwhile, we've previously noticed that Prince Harry's son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, is the spitting image of his dad, so we wouldn't be surprised if he and his second cousin, August, end up looking very similar too.

All we can say is that there must be some very strong genes in this royal family.
