Prince Archie Just Hit a Major Milestone, and Meghan Showed Up Perfectly for It

Can you believe Archie, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's firstborn, is already 6 years old? I can't. I also can't believe the little tyke just hit a major childhood milestone: losing his first tooth! And in typical Duchess of Sussex fashion, Megan skirted tradition and did things with a little sweet twist on a classic.

In an interview with Fast Company, the multi-hyphenate business mama, 43, told interviewers that when she learned that Archie lost his first tooth, she rushed home to make sure she could pull her moonlighting shift as Tooth Fairy. And, since this is Meghan Markle we're talk about, the Duchess of Jam, Rainbow Fruit Platters and Flower Petal Sprinkles, the stale quarter under the pillow trope just won't do. This royal tooth fairy, instead, left some money (how much, we'll never know) and a small dinosaur under the little prince's pillow.

The Duchess continued to share in her Fast Company interview that, too excited to sleep through the night, apparently, Archie woke Meghan up at 2 a.m. to share the exciting news: “I had a lot of business meetings the next morning, but I still chose to cuddle with him the rest of the night,” she says. “Those mom moments energize me to be a better founder, a better employer, a better boss.” Little does Archie know he was cuddling with the Royal Highness Tooth Fairy of Montecito.

The Sussex family celebrated Archie's sixth birthday on May 6, 2025. A proud mom with her heart full, Meghan posted a sweet photo of her son on Instagram: a silhouette of the 6-year-old in striped pajamas looking out at the gorgeous sunset. The caption read: "Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie! Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He’s six! Where did the time go? (And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special ❤️)." Hmm, wish we had an invite to the party!

A month later, the Duchess of Sussex posted a beautiful black and white photo, another birthday post, this time for her daughter, Lili, writing: "Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!"

Happy birthday season to the Sussex family kiddos. Here's to more visits from the benevolent Tooth Fairy.
