We Challenged Antoni Porowski to a Blind Cheese Taste-Test (and We Made it *Very* Difficult)

It’s not everyday that you’re given the opportunity to sit down with Queer Eye’s very own food expert, Antoni Porowski. Porowski, who’s partnered up with Boursin Cheese, stopped by the PureWow offices to chat all things holiday entertaining, so naturally, we used it as a chance to challenge him to a cheese taste-test. (As one does.)

The only catch? He was blindfolded for the entire process. And as it turns out, identifying cheese without being able to look at it is…actually pretty tough.

We set Antoni up with four different fromages and the slightly devious goal of stumping him. He tasted a goat Gouda, a local Pecorino Romano, a traditional French Brie and a classic garlic and herb Boursin. (We didn’t want to be too mean.)

We won’t give away too many spoilers—we’ll let you watch the video, which also appeared on our IG Stories—but let’s just say Antoni had his work cut out for him. In his defense, it’s a surprisingly demanding task to eat that much cheese in one sitting.

But now that we know what Antoni’s favorite cheese is, we’ll have some ready for next time. You know, to make it easier on him.
