Antoni Porowski’s opinions on food have sparked debate before (he hates cilantro?!). And now, history is repeating itself with a surprising cheese confession.
The 35-year-old Queer Eye star sat down for an edition of Grubhub’s Inside the Bag: Antoni Porowksi to discuss his takeout preferences.
As any Fab Five fan can tell you, Porowski loves cheese. He can’t get enough of it. But if he had to pinpoint a favorite from brie to gruyere and everything in between, it’d have to be—drumroll, please—processed American cheese. Wait, what? He explained that he loves the rubbery squares of cheese because he wasn’t allowed to have them as a kid, so that explains things a bit. Porowski specifically loves a standard breakfast sandwich with processed cheese. He calls it, “the start to the perfect day.”
But his cheese-related preferences don’t end there. He also revealed that he has a special technique for eating cheese pizza in which he takes the cheese off one slice and adds it to another to create a double cheese effect. He apologized to his family for demonstrating it on camera, but we honestly think it’s kind of brilliant.
Although it’s not cheese related, Porowski also says that when he’s feeling really indulgent, he’ll order three to five desserts as dinner. Of course, this only happens once or twice a year, but we can definitely get on board with this little ritual.
As Porowski says, “Sometimes you wanna take care of yourself with something really healthy, and other times taking care of yourself is just cheese in three different forms.”
We live by the latter.
