America Ferrera Channels Her ‘Kenergy’ While Prepping for the Golden Globes

While counting down the minutes 'til we saw our favorite stars flaunt their best looks on the Golden Globes red carpet, we took a (virtual) tour behind the scenes to see how celebrities were prepping for the big night. First up on our list? Barbie actress America Ferrera, whose routine is sure to get Ken's stamp of approval.

On her Instagram Stories, the 39-year-old star posted footage of herself taking a sunny stroll outdoors while sipping coffee in a face mask. But the best part, by far, is her cozy Barbie-inspired sweater, which reads, "I am Kenough."

In the clip, which is set to Bill Withers' "Lovely Day," Ferrera wrote, "Golden Globes prep commence: moisturize (check), coffee (check), a little Kenergy (check)."

But that wasn't all. The actress also treated her followers to a glimpse of her hair and makeup prep by sharing footage of the process. Set to Dua Lipa's "Houdini," the clip shows Ferrera getting her hair flat-ironed as she flaunts her full-face glam—courtesy of makeup artist Carola Gonzalez. She wrote, "Glam time!"

Ferrera's makeup look features a soft pink lip and a subtle pink blush, which is already giving us major Barbie vibes.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Fererra would be joining a star-studded lineup of presenters at this year's Golden Globes, which will be hosted by Jo Koy. Other presenters include Florence Pugh, Issa Rae, Oprah Winfrey, Amanda Seyfried and Angela Bassett.

We can't wait to see her hit the stage later tonight!
