Alanis Morissette is saying "Thank U" for baby number three.
The Canadian-American singer/songwriter just revealed that she gave birth to a son last week. This is her third child with husband and rapper Mario Treadway.
Morissette announced the birth of her son, Winter Mercy, on Instagram. The couple has another son, 8-year-old Ever Imrie, and a 2-year-old daughter, Onyx Solace (celeb baby names, amirite?!).
The seven-time Grammy Award winner's 'Gram features a black-and-white photo of her new baby boy snuggled up close with her hand resting on his head. Morissette captioned the shot, "He’s here," and the baby's birthday, August 8, 2019. (How did you keep this news from us for so long, Alanis?!)
She also added a hashtag that reads, "#
But that's not the only recent Alanis news. Earlier this year, it was announced that Morissette's chart-topping Jagged Little Pill album is headed to Broadway. According to The New York Times, the Diablo Cody–written musical will open on Broadway later this year. (No word yet on whether Morissette will be involved in the production, other than the use of her music from the 1995 album of the same name.)
