ICYMI, the Our Place Always Pan is the super-chic skillet that’s been blowing up Pinterest and Instagram feeds alike. But if you have no idea what we’re talking about, here’s the deal: It’s a ceramic, nonstick cooking pan that has all of the capabilities of a 16-piece cooking set (read: this pan will replace every skillet you own). The brand has also recently launched a nonstick Perfect Pot, which editor Taryn Pire calls “the pot to end all pots,” in her PureWow100 review. But what really makes this cookware obsession-worthy is the muted, silicone matte finishes they don. And as of yesterday, there’s a new dusty blue shade of the Always Pan + Perfect Pot duo that’s just in time for the Holidays: Blanch.

The Multitasking Always Pan Has Replaced Every Other Nonstick Skillet I Own

Recently, Our Place launched several warm, earthy colors (like heat and terracotta) to fit with the desert-inspired hues that have been trending in 2021. But as the color predictions for 2022 start pouring in, we get the sense that cozy, warm shades are out—and restorative, hopeful hues are taking their place. Furthermore, forecasters predict that 2022 will be all about healing colors that give us a sense of renewal and hope. Think olive greens, bluish-silvers and sea glass hues. Basically, if you feel like you’ve seen the color at some point during your childhood, you’re on the right track.

It's fitting, then, that Blanch is described as “an ode to Ouma’s recipe box, the lace tablecloth passed down from your Abuela, an update on the old school Jell-o mold,” in the brand’s press note. It also mentions how the color “looks no further than Yiayia’s kitchen for dinner party inspiration.” The muted, silvery blue is a tribute to our past and serves as a reminder of family tradition and nostalgic memories.

So, whether you’re cooking Christmas dinner in your Always Pan or gifting a Perfect Pot to your pasta-loving sister, we guarantee the Blanch shade will bring all of the nostalgic holiday cheer you’re looking for this season.
