Joanna Gaines Calls This Barefoot Dreams Throw Her "Adult Baby Blanket" (and It's Included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!)

Gaines named the snuggly throw among her must-haves in a 2022 interview with Popsugar, and if you're a fan of Fixer Upper (or any other Chip and Joanna Gaines show), you know that she has great taste when it comes to all things homeware.

But the design star is not the only one who finds it to be top tier in terms of plush comfort. PureWow's own senior editor, Dana Dickey, penned an ode to the blanket in a PureWow 100 review, while Executive Managing Editor Catrina Yohay has raved, "It's soft, warm and stretchy, while still being incredibly lightweight. I have about ten throws stacked up in my living room just waiting to be used, but this has replaced all of them with permanent residence on my couch." It's also gotten shout-outs from the A-list likes of  Chrissy Teigen, Khloé Kardashian, Hailey Bieber and Kate Hudson.

The blanket is made from a super soft polyester microfiber material that's "woven so that it breathes," as one buyer describes it, and "never gets too warm or uncomfortable," so overheating shouldn't be on the agenda. The best part, however, might be the fact that it's machine-washable, and according to reviewers, holds up wonderfully even after multiple rounds in the machine.

Now that it's majorly marked down in a selection of neutral hues that can take you from summer to well into the winter months, I can't imagine a better excuse to score the Gaines- (and PureWow editor-) approved blanket. Time to enjoy the sweetest summer dreams...for a steal.
