Moving across the country is stressful, to say the least. There are a ton of moving parts to mull over—finding a place, for one, gauging a neighborhood in a city you’ve never lived in, figuring out how to transport your stuff 3,000 miles. But, having just gone through this entire process, one thing I never thought twice about was which sofa I wanted as the centerpiece in my new home.
Cozey had been on my radar for months—popping up in Instagram posts and lists of chic, easy-to-install sofa brands. I drooled over the modern designs and endless customization options. So when it was finally time to decide on furniture, my poor boyfriend did not get any say: We were trying a Cozey, and that’s final. (Reader, worry not—he has been very pleased with my decision.)
We (read: I) landed on the Cozey Atmosphere sofa (starting at $1,480). More specifically, the Cozey Atmosphere high-angled three-seater with built-in storage and an ottoman ($2,575). Its three main draws: 1. It’s modular, so we could configure it perfectly to our space, and add to it in the future. 2. It came with the option of built-in storage under every cushion, so we could stash toys, linens and more out of sight. 3. All of the upholstery covers are removable and machine-washable, so spills wouldn’t be catastrophes (plus we could change up the look if we ever decide to redecorate).
Three months later, the Cozey Atmosphere has exceeded my expectations. Ahead, my full review of the sofa, along with everything you need to know before you buy.
