Balsam Hill Christmas Trees with colorful vintage lights

If you opened up TikTok at any point last December, then you probably encountered a Balsam Hill Christmas tree or two. They've racked up *millions* of views on the platform alone, making one thing clear: The brand's artificial Christmas trees are the hottest commodity of the holiday season. (They've even received a stamp of approval from our editor-in-chief, Jillian Quint.)

This week, in honor of Veteran's Day, the brand is giving shoppers a major treat: up to 40 percent off treesplus an extra $50 off orders above $750 with code FESTIVE50.

Translation? You'll want to take this chance to score a pre-lit Blue Spruce tree (from $399; $249) or Frosted Fraser Fir tree (from $699; $449) that looks realistic enough to fool Santa. (You can also snag discounts on a bunch of holiday decor during the sale.)

Better yet, each tree allows for an array of customizations, from the height to the style to gorgeous pre-installed light options that save you time *and* energy. Below, find every tree worth buying, plus a breakdown of what makes them splurge-worthy.

First, check out this BH Fraser Fir flip tree (from $1,899; $1,399), which starts at an impressive 6.5 feet and comes in multiple pre-lit options. While the main draw is how easy it is to set up (just check out the TikTok above to see how it effortlessly flips into place, sans any heavy lifting), I also love that Balsam Hill gives us options when it comes to the tree's volume. While the wide option allows you to really fill a room—offering plenty of space for ornaments and presents beneath—the slim shape is Balsam Hill's most slender profile, intentionally designed for tight spaces, corners and foyers. And of course, you have the full (regular) shape, which features a lush silhouette and sturdy branches that make it the brand's most popular pick.

Then, of course, there's the Vermont White Spruce tree on sale (from $549; $349). It was awarded a whopping 95 points out of 100 in a PureWow 100 review from our editor-in-chief, who wrote: "My tree arrived in a compact (though certainly not small) bag that included the tree in four sections as well as a stand, extra bulbs and gloves for 'shaping.' Putting it together was fairly easy: you set up the base and then insert the sections into it and each other one at a time."

Per Quint, "The coolest part is definitely the pre-strung lights, which you can customize based on your color and temperature preferences... granted my vision isn’t what it used to be, but even from very close up, I really cannot tell [that the tree is artificial]! The branches and shape are irregular enough to be convincing, and I like that you can pick your fullness to fit both your space and your preferences; some people like an iconic cone, while others prefer something less traditional."

Finally, a bunch of PureWow readers bought the BH Norway Spruce tree (from $649; $499) last year—and I can see why it's racked up more than 1,000 glowing reviews. Its slim silhouette was designed to closely mimic the Scandinavian look of the Picea abies, a European species, and it includes sturdy True Needle foliage, which is designed to look like the real deal. "We were wowed by how pretty and natural-looking this tree was," one shopper raves. "The quality is amazing. The 'trunk' is brown textured so it looks much more realistic than a green or black metal pole... the stand is also of excellent quality—very sturdy, not one of those cheap-wheeled flimsy stands. Easy to assemble and super easy to roll our new tree (We also bought the wheeled stand so we could roll it down the hall to store in a closet)."

If you're planning for a Scandi-chic Christmas, you know what to do.
