Panera Bread is no doubt most famous for its soups, salads and sandwiches. But remember when the fast-casual chain designed a baguette-inspired, green shoulder bag in 2023 to celebrate its toasted baguette sandwich menu? ICYMI, the bag sold out in nine hours flat. If you couldn’t get your hands on one then, you’re in luck. The brand just released the Croissant Clutch in honor of its new Croissant Toast sandwiches.

The bag is a sleek brown clutch, complete with a pleated design (it emulates lamination, a folding technique that gives croissants and other flaky pastries their signature layers), a gusset with accordion sides and a gold, kiss-lock closure. It also comes with a detachable gold chain so you can sling it over your shoulder, as well as a “P” emblem that stands for…well, you know.

My favorite feature? The bag is designed with an insulated lining, and it just so happens to be the optimal size for toting a Croissant Toast sandwich on the move. That means it’s prime for stuffing with all sorts of snacks—and in style. Best of all, the $40 clutch comes with a $15 Panera gift card, so you can taste the new sandwich as soon as you receive it.

I just so happened to have tried both varieties, which come on new sliced bread made with buttery, flaky croissant dough. There’s the Croque Monsieur, topped with Black Forest ham, provolone, Asiago and a caramelized onion-Gruyère spread. If you don’t eat meat, there’s the Fromage iteration, made with provolone, Asiago, caramelized onions, arugula and garlic aioli. (Truth be told, I do eat meat, but preferred the latter.)

One caveat: The clutch isn’t expected to ship until August. But if history is any indicator, odds are it’ll sell out in the very near future. You know what to do.
