As an expert in a number of fields, from acting to health and wellness, it should come as no surprise that Gwyneth Paltrow is also talented in the kitchen. And fortunately for us, the Goop founder has a beloved recipe for strawberry shortcake sliders—a twist on a classic summer dessert. But our biggest question is whether this sweet strawberry treat passes the taste test.

On this week’s episode of Celeb Bites, Juliette prepares the famous recipe for homemade biscuits filled with strawberries coated in agave and balsamic, plus lots and lots of whipped cream. So, does this tasty treat live up to the hype? Check out the episode above to see the taste test and the step-by-step recipe.

Paltrow is quite the culinary connoisseur. Not only has the Marvel actress written five cookbooks throughout her career, but she also appeared in two cooking shows called Spain... on the Road Again and Netflix’s The Chef Show

In the PBS series (which only lasted one season), Paltrow traveled alongside professional chef Mario Batali, cookbook author/New York Times food writer Mark Bittman and actress Claudia Bassols on a journey through Span’s culinary food culture.

Whereas in The Chef Show, the Shallow Hal alum was joined by hosts Jon Favreau and chef Roy Choi, and together, they all whipped up a delicious batch of pepper pot (a popular Guyanese dish).

We can’t wait to give Paltrow’s dishes a shot ourselves.
