If you’re like me, you snack while you work (or game, or…shower?). I like to fuel up and expel energy simultaneously, meaning I need a steady supply of snack mix—or whatever—hitting my system as I type. The one downside? Crumbs, grease and snack dust inevitably get all over my laptop. It’s a price I’m willing to pay…but what if I didn’t have to? Enter these silly but kind of ingenious finger chopsticks.

Sold by STACTIV on Amazon, they come in a four-piece bundle in a range of bright colors. They’re lightweight and designed to be grippy yet comfortable. The idea is to be able to use them for extended periods of time, like while playing video games or working at a computer. Even better, the set is currently 25 percent off (was $20, now $15).

In a video posted by PureWow creator Jada Page to our Instagram account, you can see how they work. The plastic chopsticks rest between two fingers while you type, keeping the mess off your hands and allowing you to grasp a few pretzels, chips or, like Page, Takis, whenever you’d like.

I asked her what it was like to use them. “They kept my nails clean, especially when eating messy snacks,” Page explained. As someone who used to wear acrylic nails, this is a major plus in my book. It doesn’t take long for the undersides of tips to get dirty, and nothing ruins a cute French mani like the neon glow of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos dust.

Not only does the tool keep your hands clean, but also your gaming controller, laptop or phone. “I enjoy using them while working to avoid getting my laptop messy,” Page adds. “Also, it’s a good way to practice using traditional chopsticks, if you struggle like I do.”

I’ll snack to that.
