We’ll admit it: TikTok has recently become our new favorite place to discover of-the-moment fashion trends (step aside, Instagram). And now that we’re preparing to (hopefully) resume some of our fave spring activities—picnics in the park, evenings at the movies, trying out new restaurants with friends—we’re looking to shake up our wardrobes with the same pieces that our favorite TikTok fashionistas have been sporting. And lucky for us all, these seven influencer-approved trends happen to be in abundance on Amazon—with affordable prices, to boot. Here, all the spring pieces you should add to cart so you can start testing out the hottest 2021 trends in just two days’ time.

The 22 Best Sandals to Pair With Your Summer Wardrobe, Starting at Just $23

1. chunky Yellow Gold Hoops

We’re assuming TikTokers love this trend because thick gold hoops are so easy to wear. They can dress up a basic tee on their own, but they also look great paired with a chunky chain or a “neck mess” (i.e., piling on a bunch of necklaces on at once). Plus, we love the way they pop on video calls, making even a black sweatshirt look dressed up. The key is to find a pair that’s lightweight, so they don’t weigh down your lobes and are comfortable enough to wear for the entire day. Before purchasing, do a quick scan the reviews to see what others have to say.

2. cross-waist Yoga Leggings

Every now and then, a specific item seems to suddenly blow up on social media, and a recent example is Aerie’s Crossover leggings. They became a must-have item after @hannahschlenker’s post modeling the super-flattering V-front style back in November, and the craze is still going strong. They’ve inspired a new wave of Amazon Fashion dupes that are every bit as flattering as the OG pair, some for just 16 bucks. Of course, they’ll work for an HIIT or yoga sesh, but you can also layer a cropped sweatshirt on top for a casual weekend outfit with a bit more coverage than just a sports bra.

3. baguette Bags

This beloved ‘90s silhouette is back and better than ever, with TikTok users modeling their throwback shoulder bags with everything from sweatsuits to party dresses to trendy shackets with jeans. As you may have guessed, Amazon Fashion has a ton of different colors, materials and sizes of baguette to choose from. If you’re looking for a bag that will last long after this trend fades on TikTok, look for something in black or brown. (FYI, croc embossed styles also tend to show wear less than their smooth leather counterparts.) Otherwise, we say go wild with pastel hues, zebra stripes or chain-link shoulder straps for an extra dose of fun.

4. faux-leather Straight-leg Pants

Another viral fashion moment came last October by way of Aritzia’s faux-leather Wilfred Melina pants, which multiple unboxing videos proclaimed were perhaps the best fitting pants ever. But with a $148 price tag, they’re not the most affordable wardrobe staple—hence the hunt for an Amazon dupe. Our tip to make them feel more spring-ready and less wintry? Layer them over a fitted tank and knot a sweater over your shoulders (because we all have trust issues with spring weather), then slip into a pair of easy sneakers for weekend brunch. Or, if you want to dress things up a bit, try a silky blouse and some block-heel sandals with lots of layered necklaces and the aforementioned open-hoop earrings.

5. pleated Tennis Skater Skirts

If you search #pleatedskirt on the app, you’ll find a ton of cute posts pairing this Wimbledon-ready staple with button-down shirts, cropped tanks and other ‘90s-esque tops. But if you’re not feeling the Cher Horowitz vibe, have no fear—you absolutely can still pull off this trend. When in doubt, we say lean into the sporty vibe and pair yours with athletic sneakers and a crewneck sweatshirt, French tucked at the waist.

6. retro Sunnies

We’re not talking about the super small Matrix frames that seemed to be making a comeback two years ago (thank god), but rectangular lenses are en vogue for 2021. Classic black, brown and tortoise styles are preferred by our fave creators, but don’t be surprised if you see Elle Woods-inspired pink pairs or ‘70s-esque yellow lenses also popping up on your feed.

Shop similar styles: Feisidy ($14); Butaby ($15 for set of two); Dollger ($20); Own the Trend ($24); Ovida ($30 for set of ten)

7. sweater Vests

Doug Funnie would be so proud. But actually, this unexpected hit is comfy and fun, and can even look surprisingly sexy—like @iamcharlotteolivia’s sleek black miniskirt look. Layer them over floaty blouses or sporty hoodies, or sport them solo with high-waist pants. The key is not to go too fitted, and stick to pullover styles instead of button ups to nail the just the right level of nerdy chic.
